Privacy Policy

I. General Provisions

Great importance is placed on the protection of personal privacy, so it is important that you know when and what data is collected, accumulated, stored, and how it is used when you visit the picwall.com/lt website (hereinafter – the Picwall website), purchase products from us, or otherwise provide us with your personal data.

These personal data processing rules apply to all persons, including those who are not registered on the Picwall website, insofar as this does not conflict with the Purchase Rules, the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, and other legal acts applicable in the Republic of Lithuania.

II. What personal information do we collect about you?

When you visit or register on our Picwall website, use the Picwall website service, purchase a Picwall product, subscribe to newsletters, participate in surveys, contests, or games, or contact us requesting information, or grant us permission to use your provided data by marking the relevant option, we collect:

  • IP address, the address of the page visited, the address of the previous page, date and time, browser type and version;
  • Username, password;
  • Your photos and other content you upload;
  • Your first name, last name, phone number, address, email address;
  • Purchase and payment information (purchase date, product price, quantity, order fulfillment status marker, IP address, discount code, order date, product name, product code);
  • Delivery data (address and phone number). If the purchase was made for another person, we collect their delivery data and contact information;
  • Documents confirming fulfillment of game and contest conditions, insofar as related to participation in a promotional campaign or the right to participate in a game;
  • The content of messages, feedback, or reviews received and sent, correspondence history;
  • When you arrive at the Picwall website from third-party websites, newsletters, or by clicking advertising banners, we record the source from which the visitor came, the name of the advertising campaign and its position, and link this data to the order.

III. How we use your personal data

We collect, process, and store your personal data only based on the lawful grounds defined in the legal acts governing personal data protection – in order to conclude and/or perform a contract concluded with you, or to use the provided data with your consent:

  • To improve your service and experience when visiting the Picwall website or using its services, to improve the Picwall website in order to be closer to you;
  • To ensure conditions for you to create your chosen personalized Picwall products;
  • To process your Picwall product orders, issue financial documents (e.g., invoices);
  • To provide data to competent authorities when required by legal acts;
  • To transfer your ordered Picwall product to our suppliers for manufacturing and delivery to you;
  • To contact you by email and mobile communication, to provide consultation and resolve issues related to the ordering or delivery of Picwall products;
  • If you have marked the relevant options (consents), to inform you about exclusive promotions or discounts, to provide similar offers by email and/or text message; you may withdraw this consent at any time;
  • To ask for your opinion regarding the quality of our products or services and to invite you to participate in market research. If you do not agree that your personal data be used for this purpose, please inform us immediately;
  • To ensure the safety of you and our property;
  • To fulfill other obligations related to the services we provide;
  • We also use the services of Facebook and other online advertising providers. You can read about these service providers' privacy policies, the data they collect, and the personal data protection measures they apply in the said service providers' own privacy policies. IV. How do we use cookies and web tracking programs?

In order to make your visits to the Picwall website more convenient and to improve the quality of the services we provide, we use cookies – small pieces of text information that are automatically created while browsing the website and are stored on your computer or other terminal device – or, for example, the "Google Analytics" website analysis service, for marketing and optimization purposes, provided by Google Inc. (Google).

You may choose whether you want to accept cookies. If you do not agree to cookies being saved on your computer or other terminal device, you can change your internet browser settings and disable all cookies, or enable/disable them one by one, and most browsers can be set so that cookies are not saved on your device. However, please note that in some cases this may slow down internet browsing speed, limit the functioning of the zoombook.lt website's features, or block access to the website. V. How do we protect your data?

We ensure that all your data is collected, processed, and stored in accordance with the requirements set out in the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other directly applicable European Union legal acts regulating personal data protection in the Republic of Lithuania, applying the necessary organizational and technical measures designed to protect your data from accidental or unlawful disclosure, destruction, alteration, and from unlawful processing actions.

The Picwall team is familiarized with personal data protection requirements and ensures compliance with the established organizational measures regarding data processing. Only authorized Picwall personnel, who are responsible for the technical, commercial, and editorial content maintenance of the Picwall website, have access to the data.

All your personal information is encrypted both during transmission and storage.

Every Picwall product, including all images, photos, or other type of uploaded content, is protected by your unique email address and password. Other persons cannot see the Picwall products you have created and the content saved in them without having these two pieces of data. Therefore, we recommend choosing your password carefully, not sharing it with third parties, and managing it securely.

VI. To whom do we disclose your data?

We will not disclose any of your personal data, except to affiliated companies (UAB BALTO trader, BALTO, UAB, and BALTO print, UAB) and business partners, without whom Picwall services could not be provided to you smoothly. In such cases, we aim to ensure that other persons to whom personal data may be provided also apply appropriate organizational and technical measures designed to protect the received personal data from any unlawful processing. We share data with the following categories of companies:

  • Data hosting and storage service providers;
  • Accounting service providers;
  • Payment service providers;
  • Picwall product manufacturers;
  • Courier (postal) service providers;
  • Electronic communications service and network providers;
  • Others, with your consent, which may be obtained on a case-by-case basis.

We will not share your data with other companies without your permission, except:

  • In response to requests from courts or state authorities, only to the extent necessary to properly comply with applicable legal acts or a court order/decision;
  • When negotiating with a third party regarding the sale or purchase of the Picwall business; in such a case, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective buyer of such a business;
  • We may transfer your personal data to third-party data processors located in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who are involved in fulfilling your orders, processing payment data, and providing auxiliary services. Please note that countries outside the EEA may not offer the same level of data protection as the European Union; however, we always require that third-party data processors process your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the applicable personal data protection legal acts.

We will not share your data with other companies without your permission, except in the following cases:

  • Legal obligation: in response to requests from courts or state authorities, to the extent necessary to properly comply with applicable legal acts or court decisions.
  • Business changes: when negotiating with a third party regarding the sale or purchase of a business (or part thereof) – in such a case we may disclose data to a potential buyer.
  • Internal administration: based on our legitimate interest, we may transfer data for the internal administrative purposes of the group of affiliated companies and to ensure common business processes.
  • Transfer of operations within the group of affiliated companies: In the course of internal business reorganization or process optimization, we may transfer your personal data and the rights and obligations related to it to another affiliated company of ours that takes over management of the relevant part of the business or services. In such a case, the new controller ensures the continuity of the processing of your data for the same purposes and under the same conditions set out in this policy.
  • Transfer outside the EEA: when necessary for order fulfillment, payment processing, or the provision of auxiliary services, data may be transferred to processors outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, we ensure that the transfer takes place in compliance with the safeguards established by the GDPR (e.g., by applying standard contractual clauses). Please note that countries outside the EEA may not offer the same level of data protection as the European Union; however, we always require that third-party data processors process your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the applicable personal data protection legal acts.

VII. Data storage

We process and store your data for as long as you use our services, and only to the extent related to the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy and the personal data protection legal acts, for the entire duration of the validity of the service (purchase) contract and for the period established by law after the expiration of the contract term (e.g., for archiving purposes set by legal acts). This also applies to everyone with whom we share your data and who provide services on our behalf.

We have also established and implemented a storage period for Picwall products, including the layouts of purchased Picwall products and the photos used for them, which will be stored in a secure, encrypted environment, but for no longer than 2 years from the date of purchase of the Picwall product. Picwall products that have been started but not ordered will be stored for 6 months from the day the Picwall product was started or created. After the established storage period expires, personal data will be deleted automatically or by an authorized Picwall employee.

In order to ensure the functionality of the custom wallpaper creation tool, the images you upload are stored temporarily, without collecting any other personal data. These files are linked only to a unique session ID so that you can view the visualization and calculate the price. If the order was not placed, or the project was not saved by creating an account, the uploaded files are automatically deleted from our server after 48 hours.

Feedback or reviews you submit will be processed for 3 years from the date of submission, for the purpose of customer identification regarding the submitted feedback.

VII. [sic] Your rights

  • You have the right to find out what personal data we have collected about you.
  • You have the right to find out to which data recipients your personal data has been provided over the past 1 year.
  • You have the right to request correction of incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate data.
  • You have the right to request deletion of the personal data collected about you.
  • You have the right to request that the processing of your collected personal data be stopped.

If you would like to receive information about the data collected about you, or to request correction or deletion in connection with incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate data processing, please send us a request by email to pagalba@picwall.com with the subject line "Data Collection Request."

We may ask you to confirm your identity with a document that allows us to properly identify you. Once you have confirmed your identity, information about the data we process about you will be provided within 30 calendar days from the date the written request was submitted.

The information is provided free of charge. If we determine that requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular due to their repetitive nature, we may charge a reasonable fee, taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information, notifications, or actions requested, or we may refuse to act on the request.

IX. Protection of minors' personal data

We recommend that minors under 18 years of age always ask their parents or guardians before sending any information about themselves to anyone online.

If you are under 18 years of age, you should not provide your personal data to Picwall without the consent of your parents or guardians.

If you are a parent/guardian and have learned that your minor child, under 18 years of age, is using the Picwall website, and you do not want this, please contact us by email at pagalba@picwall.com and we will remove all related data as quickly as possible.

X. Where to turn regarding a rights violation

If you believe that your rights regarding the processing and storage of personal data have been violated, please contact us by email at pagalba@picwall.com and we will try to resolve the issues that have arisen as quickly as possible.

XI. How the privacy policy is amended

Additions or amendments to the Privacy Policy are published on the Picwall website in the section: Privacy Policy, and take effect from the date of their publication, i.e., from the day they are posted on the Picwall website.

We recommend that you periodically visit the Picwall website and review the latest version of the Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we will inform you about them.
